Default configuration #
Each receiver contains a memory that allows to send back the last value received when there is a loss of HF connection.
By default, remote controls are configured on universe ID 1.
Utilisation #
Using HF Electroconcept products doesn’t alter the way your DMX devices are used.
The technology used allows to have a complete transparency between your devices.
The 512 channels are sent. Frames synchronisation allows to avoid latency between the emittor and the receiver.
Connect your DMX devices on the remote control DMX Output, XLR 3-pin female. The remote control.s as well as the emitter you are using should be configured on the same universe ID. For optimal performance, a maximum of 5 devices is recommended. Beyond this, use a Spitter Booster.
- In battery mode, switch the switch button on the side on “BATT”..
- In power supply mode, we recommend switching the switch to the same side. This means that if there is a problem, the battery automatically takes over.
- To switch off your remote control, unplug the power supply then press and hold the switch button “ON/OFF”.
LED #
The blue LED “BAT” is switched on when the battery is charging.
The orange LED “DMX” flashes at the rate of the DMX signal frames sent to the XLR output
The red LED “HF” shows the status of HF signal:
- slow flashing : no DMX HF signal, waiting for universe ID data
- fixed or flashing very fast: signal DMX HF signal detected with satisfactory signal
- flickering LED or irregular flashing rhythm: low DMX HF signal detected, DMX frames are incomplete and are supplemented by the latest values received.
